Why others choose ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is more than a quality seal. It is a strategic tool that:
- Strengthens your internal processes and reduces errors and waste
- Opens the door to new markets and tenders requiring ISO 9001
- Increases trust with clients and partners – you can document that you work in a structured and professional manner
- Sets goals and creates progress through data, audits and continuous improvements.
Our skilled employees at Bureau Veritas Denmark A/S guide you all the way through the certification process – whether it is your first certification or you already have experience with the ISO standards but wish to switch to a new certification body.
From certification to a documented sustainability report
Companies that already certified according to the ISO 9001 standard have a strong foundation for documenting and reporting their sustainability data.
Through verification of your sustainability report (CSRD), Bureau Veritas Denmark can independently verify your overall sustainability efforts as a natural extension of your ISO 9001 certification.

ISO 9001:2026 will replace the previous version, ISO 9001:2015. It is important to stay informed about the latest version of ISO 9001, as revisions and updates are made regularly to address new needs and technologies in quality management.

5 QUESTIONS WE ARE OFTEN ASKED ABOUT ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION
1. WHY IS IT CALLED ISO 9001:2015 and not just ISO 9001?
The year indicates the most recent update of the standard. ISO 9001:2015 is thus an ISO 9001 standard published in 2015, and it replaced the previous version, ISO 9001:2008. It is important to know the version of ISO 9001 in question, as revisions and updates are continuously made to meet new needs and technologies within quality management.
In 2015, the following was introduced among other things:
- High Level Structure (HLS) of all ISO standards, making it easier to integrate with other management system standards.
- Increased focus on risk thinking, where organisations must identify, assess and manage risks and opportunities in their quality management system.
- Greater support of the management system from the top management
2. HOW DO WE GET STARTED WITH ISO 9001:2015?
Bureau Veritas offers an ISO 9001 Inspiration Seminar for anyone who needs a basic understanding of the ISO 9001 standard before they get started.
When you are ready to start with the actual certification, we recommend that you begin with a GAP analysis. In short, it gives an insight into where the 'gaps' are in meeting the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, and this makes your work more focused.
